Warriors forward LeDrew is BCHL No. 1 star of week

The initial rosters for the BCHLB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ· All-Star Weekend in Salmon Arm were announced after a vote between head coaches and general managers from the leagueB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ· 21 teams. Today, the league has launched a Fan Vote to select the remaining roster spots.

With each team having one skater voted into the game already, and all four goalies already selected, there are three remaining spots for fans to decide. Fan vote players were also chosen through the same coaches and general managers poll. A total of 21 players, one from each team, are vying for the final spots.

The fan vote will not be separated by conference. The three players with the most votes will receive the final spots.

Among those on the ballot are Max Heise (Penticton Vees), Edvin Nilsson (Vernon Vipers) and Sam LeDrew (West B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ· Warriors).

Others are Caden Tremblay, Joey Melo, Nathan Free, Brady Milburn, Mason Kesselring, Ben Portner, Jacob Fletcher, Sid McNeill, Andrew Brown, Brett Wilson, Calvin Beard, Ethan Montroy, Roenick Jodoin, Kale Dach, Adam Lang, Jackson Anderson, Lucas Lemieux and Drew Hockley.

Only one vote per day will be counted. The Fan Vote ends on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 4 p.m. PT. The results will be announced the following day

Once the voting is complete, the players will be split into four teams of six skaters and one goalie and will compete in a 3-on-3 tournament, as well as a skills competition on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Salmon Arm.
